Encoding.com is used for all video encoding in Postwire. They support thousands of video codec combinations. To learn what these are, read the following section.

Encoding.com supports numerous video codec combinations, including: 

• H.264
• VP6 FLV
• MP4, MPEG
• MPEG2
• 3GP
• 3GP2
• AVI
• VOB
• WMV 

You can review a full list of supported file types at Encoding.com.

Note: Some proprietary codecs are not supported by Encoding.com and will cause an error during encoding.
