Overview

Users can disconnect their Slack integration if they do not want to have a Slack account connected to their Sococo account. After removing the Slack integration, the user will not be able to login using Slack credentials nor communicate with other Slack members from Sococo.

Solution

The Slack integration is set up for your entire Sococo workspace by your Sococo Admin or your Slack Admin. It is possible to disable the integration only for your user by following the steps below:

1. Go to your Slack App Directory:
   https://[yourslack].slack.com/apps
   
2. Navigate to Manage and from the list of apps select Sococo.
   
3. Under Settings, in the Authorizations section, locate your Slack name and click on Remove configuration button on the right side.
   
   

Testing

Once you remove the configuration from Slack, your Sococo account will no longer be integrated with your Slack account. You will not be able to log in with your Slack account nor communicate with Slack members from your Sococo app (without connecting your Slack account again).
