This article provides information about a known issue in Sococo where a user, who joins a Zoom meeting linked to a room, can leave the room and remain in the Zoom meeting.

Information

There are multiple ways to leave or end a Zoom meeting that has been linked to a room in your Sococo space. One of them was leaving the room. However, users can now leave the room and remain in the Zoom meeting. Additionally, their avatar and status will not reflect that the user is participating in a meeting. While this issue is addressed by our Engineering team, it is recommended to leave the meeting directly from the Zoom app or using the End/Leave options available in the top bar as described in Ending Zoom Meetings.
